Happy B'day to Me :)

So, today is my b'day and the weather has made it more special. It's been heavily raining since morning and feels great. And the most special thing about the day is I've been receiving birthday wishes from all over the globe. Yeah, one of my friends called me up from Singapore. She called me early in the morning and it felt so special that people take their time out even when they are miles away from you. And yeah, one of my friends sent me 2 novels by courier. It was Really a pleasant surprise!!! All my friends are special to me in a way or the other. But the negative part is that today it's not an off and am sitting in office and working :( Waiting for 6:30 and reach home asap. Just 3 hours more and I'll run away.........Rest is fine. My TL is eating my head now... Have to work ...Will keep updating..

De Ja Vu

"It had been a looong tiring day" - My favorite dialogue by Preity Zinta from Kabhi Alvida na kehna :) But yeah, it had been a long tiring day actually, All the time I was working and to avoid myself from sleeping, I listened to songs.

Have you ever noticed that certain songs always remind us of some situations whenever we listen them. No matter, how many years pass away, We remember those things whenever we listen to that particular track. Here are some of the songs that reminded me of some special moments, I will always cherish :)

  • Mere naseeb mei tu hai ki nahi: MCA First Year, All gals used to dedicate this song to their respective boyfriends :)
  • Jo khabo khayalo me socha nahi tha (From the movie Jannat): When I first joined the Gym. This I was gym instructor's favorite song, I suppose. He used to play it every morning at least twice thrice.
  • Hasi ke Fuwaree (Sud) on Radio Mirchi: My first organization cabs. We used to gossip a lot but whenever Sid used to speak, we used to listen the joke quietly and then laugh it at loud.
  • Kaise bataye, kyun tujh ko chahen (Ajab Prem ki gazab kahani): I watched it with my sis and did loads of shopping. It was fun.
  • Thekeya te Nit khadke (Punjabi song): Reminds me of my friend's brother's marriage when one of her friends was trying to impress me by dancing on this. It was so embarrassing. Lolzzz...
  • Ye bandhan to pyar ka bandhan hai from the movie "Karan Arjun": Reminds me of my childhood days.

So, which are your special tracks that remind you of something special

FAKO

So, FAKO is the new term for "Fuck Off". And the term is discovered by one of my friends. Yesterday while discussing stuff, we both invented the term FAKO. We see, every second person these days is worried about one or the other thing in their life. So, what can we do to relieve ourselves from all our tensions and worries? What's the mantra? FAKO is the mantra for us. It means, tell all the clutter to "fuck off" out of your life that makes you sad or irritated. Like if your Boss irritates you at work. Recite the "FAKO" mantra in your heart, and believe me you'll feel much better. If your colleague is playing politics, FAKO him/her. I am also following the "FAKO" mantra and yeah it really works. After all, life is to live, not to bear FAKO people/things. So, tell me, what do you want to FAKO?

Choose Your Words/Actions Well

Finally, it's Friday. And this one is special one, as tomorrow is the fourth Saturday of the month, so, it will be an off and I would be getting 2 days off. Yaaayyyyy... I can't wait to reach home and sleep till late morning. Lolzzz.. How interesting no, Nowadays, I find sleeping as my best time pass. As it keeps me away from all worries and tensions. But before that, I have to check out the Chinese Food with a my third bitch: "Alps".

No more updates now, Actually, in this post I am going to share a small story, I read on Jamie's Blog (My Inspiration to Blogging). It's an interesting and thoughtful story. So,read on:

Choose Your Words/Actions Well

A woman one day said something that hurt her best friend. She regretted it immediately, and would have done anything to have taken the words back. But they were said, impulsively, in a moment of thoughtlessness, and as close as she and her friend were, she didn't consider the effects of her words beforehand.

In her effort to undo what she had done, she went to an older, wiser woman in the village. She explained her situation, and asked for advice. The older woman listened patiently in an effort to determine just how sincere the younger woman was, how far she was willing to go to correct the situation.

The wise woman said, "There are two things needed to do to make amends. The first of the two is extremely difficult. Tonight, take your best feather pillows, and open a small hole in each one. Then, before the sun rises, you must put a single feather on the doorstep of each house in town. When you are through, come back to me. If you've done the first thing completely, I'll tell you the second."

The young woman hurried home to prepare for her chore. All night long she labored alone in the cold. She went from doorstep to doorstep, taking care not to overlook a single house. Her fingers were frozen, the wind was so sharp it caused her eyes to water, but she ran on, through the darkened streets, thankful there was something she could do to put things back the way they once were.

Just as the sun rose, she returned to the older woman. She was exhausted, but relieved that her efforts would be rewarded. "My pillows are empty. I placed a feather on the doorstep of each home."

Now, said the wise woman, "Go back and refill your pillows. Then everything will be as it was before."

The young woman was stunned. "You know that's impossible! The wind blew away each feather as fast as I placed them on the doorsteps! You didn't say I had to get them back! If this is the second requirement, then things will never be the same."

"That's true", said the older woman. "Never forget. Each of your words is like a feather in the wind. Once spoken, no amount of effort, regardless how heartfelt or sincere, can ever return them to your mouth. Choose your words well, and guard them most of all in the presence of those you love."

Koi khalish hai hawaaon mein...

The topic is quite out of context. But it's my favorite track from "I hate Luv storys." So jut picked it up. Weather is quite pleasant, today. It's drizzling outside. As far as my new work is place is concerned, the environment is quite cool and there are hell loads of assignments, so I hardly get time to breath. I wrote 2 articles for a client and they approved them and assigned more work. So, It's kind of my first achievement here. My TL was quite impressed and appreciated my work. Rest is fine. Now I'm waiting for the end of the month, when I'll get my first salary after 3 months' break. I am looking forward to spend all of the amount.

1. I have to buy a new mobile (Fed up with this old, cheap one)
2. Will download songs of "I hate Luv Storys." Loved them, specially the one: "Bin tere, bin tere..."
3. Buy new footwear
4. Watch Peepli (Live), the new Aamir khan movie.

OMG. It's quite a good list. Let's hope, it all works out. Rest is fine. Have to go back to work now.

Rain

So, finally the monsoon has arrived in Delhi. It was a wonderful evening yesterday. The moment I get out of office, it started raining heavily, buses were jammed with people. Roads were blocked with water, Metro stopped operating. Instead of all this, it was great to feel the heavy rain. I was totally soaked with water while waiting for bus. Overall, it was a great evening. I reached home and had a refreshing cu of tea and talked to "S" (one of my good friends). He's the one I can bitch about how life sucks these days. Though he's an asshole, but I love his sense of humor. See, I'm bitching about him too. Lollzz.. Then went to sleep. Today morning was refreshing and beautiful. I got late for office but then I took an auto and guess what, a handsome hunk was sitting besides me. Loolllzzzz... Girls will be girls. Anyways, it feels great to be in office now. Have got loads of work to finish. Catch you later.

Yeah, one more thing. Here is an interesting post by one of my blogger friends: "AK" . Since I can't copy and paste it, I'm giving the link. Those who are feeling low about anything can read it and get some inspiration.

New Job

After 3 months of rest at home, finally I got a new Job. These 3 months had been a mix of torture and boredom. I was sitting idle all the time thinking about useless stuff. In these 3 months, I have realized how necessary it is to keep yourself occupied with work. I am feeling as if I am back from a long illness. Anyways, it feels good to be in office. There are new challenges as far as the work is concerned. People are ok types, but the best part is I have an old friend of mine who's working here in the other department so I can go for breaks with her. Overall, it feels good to be busy and occupied. Life has changed a lot in past few months, but I am trying to get hold of myself and regain the old enthusiasm and energy. Will keep posting with latest updates.

Till later,
Take Care,
Ann
