Isn't it Right to stand for yourself?

In modern times when we have grown u reading stories of many Bravehearts like Rani Jhansi, Rani Padmavati, Draupadi, and many females or male characters who inspired us by their decision making and made a mark in the history. A question always arises that why still females or anyone who is a soft-hearted person is considered weaker

In our society, on one hand, we worship them in form of Durga, Laxmi but on the other hand, in our daily lives, we hear many disturbing stories of domestic abuse, rapes, or sometimes more dangerous of them all that is Mental abuse. People have always tried to hide such stories or chose to keep mum either for the sake of fake society's reputation or their own personal weaknesses.

We can't blame any particular caste, creed or sex for such things, I feel we females are somewhere responsible for this condition of womanhood. For instance, Why we teach our girls always to be patient even if something wrong happens, Why don't we teach them to differentiate between what's wrong and what's right for them. If we are against a thing, why don't we have the courage to speak for ourselves at the very moment when something wrong happens, why do we wait for years to speak or wait for a big campaign like "Me Too"

As a woman, I feel it's our responsibility to teach our next generation to stand for themselves, be it a boy or a girl, and support other humans around us who are dealing with something tough in their life.

A lot that has happened in past few years around me (not exactly in my life), has pushed me to ask this question that is it wrong to speak your mind or stand for yourself?

P.S.  #Sushant Singh Rajput's demise has affected me a lot as he was the first and last actor, I have loved. He was a good human as per the sources and am still not able to accept that he is gone.

Please help people around you guys and be kind to yourself and the others.

It is always right to stand for ourself . We have to change our society specially to accept daughter in law's perspective . She must get the right to speak , if she speaks doesn't mean she is mannerless. Some peoples are communicative while others are not . Society must accept both with open heart.

On the very first note,I would like to ask you- being a girl you must have faced such situation many times, did you stand for yourself and for ur beliefs. Because change begin to happen from us and not from others. It takes a hell lot of courage to stand for your beliefs n principles. It has a price to pay always in terms of relations or money or reputation ( just societal) or dreams n many more .......we can only teach our kids what we do in our life not what we should do. Be honest with your response . Real is rare fake is everywhere. This phrase is not for you but for majority of people put there.

For Sushant- again people need guts . I would like to see how many of us can boycott those who forced him into this.i have already unfollowed all of them.i won't go to theatre to watch their movie.it will be tough but history shows living a life of principles was never easy n never will. People dnt have guts to speak their heart, their mind, do what they want.....in multiple fear. Give it a thought n scrutinize ur life first n would love to hear your response only if it is honest n real.

Hey, answer to your question is it's not wrong to stand and speak for what you feel is right. What is wrong is when you can't stand for yourself , for your own belief.if you won't stand, why will others stand for you.what extra they have been given by God that doesn't exist in you.its all about courage , its all about your values. If you don't stand for the right, unknowingly and unintentionally you are supporting the wrong.its deep, need good understanding to understand it. What's your take ? What do you do- you stand or you don't :) ?
